Farleigh Road Private House

London

Designer: Paolo Cossu Arch.

A typical terraced house in North London to adapt to the creative taste of an artist and their family. The core of the project is a wooden staircase that becomes a place where one can sit, meet people and chat, as well as a bookcase.

The staircase becomes wainscoting with sliding doors. In this project a precise survey is paramount for a perfect result.

The solid wood of the kitchen requires in-depth knowledge of the material: wood is alive and moves, but the décor must preserve its quality over the years.

Only skilled craftspeople can work with wood and obtain a precise, lasting result.
